I’m Chris Cockrill, a tattoo artist with over 20 years of experience in sunny San Diego.
My style blends traditional Americana, Japanese, and delicate black-and-grey techniques. After an intense 1998 apprenticeship, I've dedicated myself to honing timeless artistic disciplines while bringing a creative approach.
Now at Remington Tattoo in North Park, I customize bold, vibrant tattoos built to last. I love tattooing fun ideas from flowers, to monsters, to your classic pieces like ships and Japanese koi fish, as well as nautical or ocean inspired designs.

I am a tattoo artist first and foremost. I am well versed in several styles and just love drawing and designing bold readable designs. I utilize design elements from traditional American tattooing, Japanese tattooing and black and grey fine line techniques to create tattoos that will last a lifetime.
Artwork
My flash and paintings are inspired by many of my interests. Implementing a lot of techniques from American traditional tattooing, nature, pop culture, and Japanese tattooing.
