For this build, I started with an aluminum Supreme frame, a popular lightweight yet durable frame style in the San Diego tattoo supply scene. Aluminum provides a sleek look and feel while still allowing for stable operation. I outfitted the frame with quality 1” pure electromagnetic iron coils to achieve my client's preferred power and stroke.

A key custom component was the nickel-plated guillotine-style vise I designed and had made by the best Austin Riley. With precision finishing, it offers incredibly smooth motion for easy tube adjustments regardless of the tube style.

My client had a very specific vision for the theme and finish of this machine. I carefully powdercoated and hand-polished the components in their chosen color scheme with gloss and matte accents. I also stamped "Fist Full of Metal" onto the machine's main frame for a bold signature flair. This achieves the exact personalized aesthetic my client was seeking for this special piece.

Once fully assembled, I dialed in the machine to my client's precise preferences through micro-adjustments to the contact screw for their desired power and responsiveness.
